My Presentation in front of German Delegation Cancelled

A german delegation came down to college today. Stuttgart people, Lapp people, and others. Mostly on business. Mohit had arranged for Dr MB Atreya to come down and give a talk on family businesses in India. That went off well.

Mo and swati also researched on the german and indian family businesses. They came up with a brilliant presentation. So many facts and figures, and they all gel-ed together. I volunteered to present in lieu of Mo. He had to escort Atreya around.

Got the whole presentation and speech rehearsed and ready. Still shaky I was , but sure of a good performance. Swats and I were ready, waiting for Atreya to finish his presentation when Subbu gestured for the MC. Our presentation was cancelled. Damn. Apparently we were running out of time... or that's what he said...

Damn. Right now feeling good for nothing.. But then, that's what I came to B-school for,... making a complete jackass out of myself , learning and making all the mistakes that I can...

I would try and disguise the dollar amount in cheesy ways like saying "this will cost 50-K" instead of saying "This will cost fifty thousand dollars."
