Marathon trails. Discovering the hip push
Just learned that pros can do the 5k in 15 minutes. Also theorized that sindus had walked at least one third of the marathon, or she jogged at a very slow pace. Else she would not have completed in 30+ minutes.
Shins are paining in the center, when pressed. The muscle touching the front bone is the problem. Hips need to wake up.
Got good speed today and also good length of breath. Body also wanted to keep straight instead of hanging head down to breathe. That was good.
Also stomach breathing seems to come more naturally. That's good.
I figure I could do a full running 5k in 25mins.
Ate omlette after run.
Ache in diaphragm is a concern. Will keep snacks very light before starting.
Hoping for longer runs after 3 weeks.
